Latest Improvements
Atlas
We’ve improved how pulse levels are handled across manikins:
- Pulse settings now stay consistent even if ATLAS manikins are disconnected or the monitor is changed
We’ve updated how age profiles work to make scenarios and alarms more accurate and easier to manage:
- Age profiles instead of manikin type – You now set the patient’s age profile (Adult, Paediatric, Neonate) directly from the scenario panel
- Automatic removal – The old “Automatic” button and dropdown have been removed
- Consistent settings – Alarm limits and CPR settings are now based on the selected age profile and stay in sync across monitors
Clearer workflow – Facilitator panels act only as remote controls, while the monitor manages and shares the settings
Corpuls
We’ve improved Pacing mode in the C1:
- The Mode button is now active
- You can choose between Demand (default) and Fix pacing modes
- Clear on-screen prompts guide you through selecting and confirming modes
- German translation (“Betriebsart wählen”) added for Mode selection
We’ve improved how you pause and resume pacing in the C1:
- Added a clear “Pause pacing?” confirmation prompt with Yes/No options
- Added a “Continue pacing?” confirmation when resuming
- On-screen text now updates to show when pacing is paused or restarted
We’ve fixed an issue with disconnected electrodes in the C1:
- When defibrillator pads are disconnected, the ECG waveform now disappears as expected
- Users are correctly prompted to connect therapy electrodes
- Improved reliability when switching leads in defibrillator mode
We’ve made pacing clearer with new alarms, sounds, and messages. When the instructor adjusts the Settings for pads and electrodes the following have been enhanced:
- Added a warning beep when pacing electrodes are disconnected
- Alarm light now flashes if electrodes are loose or disconnected
- Clear on-screen alerts show when electrodes are loose or cables are missing
- Behavior improved for Demand and Fix pacing modes to better match real-world devices
- Added full German translations for all new pacing messages
We’ve simplified Corpuls settings on C1 and C3:
- The escalation protocol option has been removed, since it’s not supported by these models
We’ve improved how you turn pacing Off in the C1:
- Added a clear “Switch off pacer?” confirmation prompt with Yes/No options
- Pacing now resets intensity and frequency to defaults when turned off
- German translation included (“Schrittmacher ausschalten?” / “Ja” / “Nein”)
We’ve fixed several issues with ECG curves in AED, Manual, and Pacer modes on the C3 and C1:
- Fixed problems where ECG waveforms disappeared when changing leads
- Curves in AED and Manual modes now stay consistent when switching between modes
- New ECG curves now default correctly to Lead I or II for clarity
- Removed extra curve options that appeared in Pacer mode
- Curves now reset to defaults each time the monitor is powered off
We’ve fixed audio issues in Pacer mode on the C3:
- Removed AED and Manual voice prompts from playing while in Pacer mode
- Disabled AED metronome sounds from carrying over into Pacer mode
- Fixed an issue where therapy electrode prompts played incorrectly in Pacer mode
We’ve improved how the top ECG curve works in C3 defibrillator modes:
- The top ECG curve in AED and Manual modes is now fixed to ECG only
- The lower two curves can still be freely set by the user
We’ve fixed an issue in the C1 where alarms did not trigger:
- Alarm sounds and notifications now activate correctly when vital signs go outside set limits
- Improved reliability of alarm messages and display texts
We’ve fixed an issue in the C1 where pressing the Send button incorrectly cancelled CPR or analysis:
- First press of Send now works correctly and no longer interrupts CPR or analysis steps
- Voice prompts and instructions flow smoothly without overlaps
Facilitator/Control
We’ve improved reliability when the monitor and control disconnect:
- Added auto-reconnect so control will try to reconnect automatically after an unexpected drop
- Clearer connection lost messages with options to cancel or reconnect manually
More stable handling of different disconnect and reconnect scenarios
Hamilton T1
We’ve improved how PEEP and Plimit work on the Hamilton ventilator:
- Plimit now always stays at least 5 above PEEP
- PEEP maximum is now correctly limited to Plimit - 5
- Pressure alarms now correctly set to Plimit + 10
- Fixed incorrect orange dot markers and minimum values on neonatal PEEP dials
We’ve fixed an issue with the TI dial on the T1 ventilator:
- Dial now increments correctly by +0.01 up to 1.0, then by +0.05 after 1.0
We’ve improved the Spont Set Point in the Facilitator app:
- Default value is now correctly set to 40 (instead of 45)
- Fixed an issue where the +/- buttons reset the value to zero instead of adjusting it properly
We’ve added the Respiratory Set Point feature to the ventilation engine:
- Simulates how spontaneous breathing responds to CO₂ levels
- Spontaneous effort now stops if ETCO₂ falls below the set point
- Added quick buttons for adjusting both Spont Effort and Set Point
We’ve improved the Flow Trigger dial on the Hamilton ventilator:
- Corrected dial limits for Adult/Pediatric and Neonatal modes
- Fixed display so the Off option now appears correctly depending on the mode
We’ve improved real-time responsiveness in ventilator waveforms:
- Waveforms and numerics now update instantly instead of only once per breath
- PEEP changes now show correctly during both inspiration and expiration
- Pressure-controlled modes respond more accurately to PEEP adjustments
- Flow trigger is now checked in real time, so the spontaneous breath marker appears at the true trigger point
Nihon Kohden – EMS1052
We’ve fixed display issues with ECG2 and CPR waveforms:
- ECG2 now correctly shows the waveform instead of placeholder text
- On smaller screens, CPR and CO₂ waveforms are now properly aligned and no longer overlap the CPR guidelines
We’ve updated translations to include the latest changes from Crowdin:
- Added updated Japanese translations for new CPR messages
- Ensured all recently approved translations are included
We’ve improved how CPR feedback messages work so they better match real compression depth and tempo:
- Added a new message: “CPR Good Compressions” (shown when both depth and rate are within the correct range)
- Messages like Press Harder, Press Faster, Press More Gently, Press More Slowly, and Release Completely now appear and disappear based on actual compression values
- Messages alternate automatically when more than one applies
- CPR bars and feedback are restricted in Child mode
- Updated Japanese translations for CPR messages
We’ve improved translations and fixed missing text in the app:
- Added 21 new Japanese translations across vital signs
- Fixed missing translations for the “Close” button in alarm sliders and sync views
We’ve updated translations to improve clarity and coverage:
- Added 55 new Japanese translations across EMS1052
We’ve expanded and improved translations across the app:
- Added translations for AED, Manual, and Pacing mode options
- Updated translation support for patient info, age/device mode, and other labels

We’ve added CPR assist waveforms and graphs across the app for clearer feedback during training:
- New compression depth and tempo bars with visual guides (green zone for correct depth)
- Added CPR bar graphs in AED, Manual, and Monitor modes (both Large and Normal numerics)
- Bars and values reset automatically after inactivity
- In Child mode, CPR assist is disabled, and a clear message is shown
- Compression and tempo numerics now display in Monitor mode
Translation Improvements
We’ve added language support
- Added Romanian language
Zoll X Advanced
- We fixed a crash that could occur on Zoll X screens when used as an additional monitor and opening Patient Info. Patient Info now opens smoothly without causing the app to quit.
